When my husband suggested that I be a tester for the above product I was dubious, but figured I had nothing to lose. I am very glad I proceeded as these products are beautifully packed and well presented. They arrived in a protective envelope without any damage.
I have blemishes on my face and differing colour tones, as well as open pores. A lot of foundations tend to sit in my pores and look cakey after a while. This was not the case for the double wear products. The concealer did an excellent job at evening out tone and blemishes. The foundation gave excellent coverage which lasted most of the day.
Sometimes my skin feels irritated when I wear makeup, but again this was not the case with the above products. I will certainly like to continue to use these products again when this supply runs out, and will most certainly be looking into other items within this range, as they seem to suit my skin very well. I have a close friend who has similar issues with her skin as I do, and I have already recommended that she try this range of cosmetics as I think they will suit her.
I was disappointed that you have to buy the pump for the foundation separately, and think it would it be a good idea in future manufacturing, that the pump is already incorporated within the bottle as this makes dispensing the foundation so much easier, and with less wastage.
The packaging looks impressive and reflects the high quality expected of Estee Lauder products, however I did find it to be a bit bulky when putting it in my recycling, and wonder if it is really necessary to have each item packed individually.
In conclusion, I have had a lot of compliments when wearing this makeup, and was even asked if I had just come back from holiday. I fully intend to continue using this line and range makeup, which will prove costly for my husband.
